IMRON Selected as 2005 New Product of the Year Finalist

Innovations in Security for Your Business

Imron Corporation’s IS2000 was selected as a 2005 New Product of the Year Finalist in the annual competition managed by Primedia’s Access Control and Security Systems Magazine.

The New Product of the Year Award showcases the most innovative products of the current year and recognizes the talent and commitment of the people involved in every aspect of development, from concept through sales. This year’s contest featured products spanning the industry from access control and perimeter security, to locks, cameras, intrusion detection systems and biometrics.  Judging for the contest is done first by a panel of industry experts who select the finalists from all the entries with the ultimate selection of the top award to be done by a poll of the magazine’s readers in an upcoming issue.

“The IS2000 is getting a lot of attention from new dealers and end users”, says Dorsie Mosher of Imron Corporation, who handles Corporate and Executive Sales for the company, “it helps them get value from their existing hardware and gives them a path to modernize and expand their systems”. Dorsie continued “Our ability to link to other systems like Radionics and DMP, or fully integrate with DVR and NVR technologies, are just part of the reasons we think the IS2000 is becoming so popular”.

“The IS2000 is truly Open Architecture / Open Platform which means we can come right in and be the software of choice for the client and the dealer”, said Imron Hussain, company President and founder, “and we’re proud of all the hard work done by our entire staff and dealer base throughout the year leading up to this award.”

The Open Architecture / Open Platform IS2000 is key to Imron’s authorized dealers’ successes in replacing aging software at competitors’ sites across the country. The IS2000 includes active alarm graphics, an organized database and easy to use graphical user controls. Many control systems once perceived as proprietary or obsolete can now be updated and maintained by using the IS2000 solution. Complete technical information is available at www.imron.com.
